Congratulations to all the winners on receiving the Ward 7 Business Excellence Award! This recognition is well-deserved and I wish you continued success and many more achievements in years to come! Also, I want to congratulate all the nominees in being recognized for our first annual business excellence awards.

Back on Track – Loop is a game changer for Mississauga.
The Ontario Government’s decision to bring back the LRT loop in downtown Mississauga is a game changer. The decision to remove the loop was short-sighted and had effectively sterilized Mississauga’s downtown. Putting the loop back will put a spring back in Mississauga’s step. This means that Downtown Mississauga residents can get around our city more easily without a car.
Expanding the LRT to Brampton is also welcoming news connecting the two neighbouring cities
I am glad the provincial government is trying to fast-track the decision around reinstating the loop and expanding the network into Brampton. I also hope that work on the existing LRT route is completed on time.
An exploratory meeting has been set for February, 1st at 7 PM at City Hall Committee Room D. Mark the date. All are welcome.
