Co-Fare Agreement Between MiWay and GO Transit

We have exciting transit news! The co-fare agreement between MiWay and GO Transit is now in effect!

The changes are as follows:

Elimination of double fare between MiWay and GO Transit – A co-fare integration agreement between the City of Mississauga and GO Transit means that MiWay will be free for riders connecting to and from GO Transit. Riders will only pay the GO Transit fare.
Increasing PRESTO discounts for youth and post-secondary students to 40 per cent off the full adult fare, almost double the current discounts.
GO Transit is also introducing an Affordability Pilot for low-income riders, starting with Peel Region for those enrolled in Peel’s Affordable Transit Program. Riders with an Affordable Transit Program fare type will be reimbursed for 50 per cent of the GO adult fare when travelling on GO Transit using a PRESTO card.
